Group Travel - Upgrading

Hey Guys,

Looking at my work booking to the states in feb. I am looking at the upgrade requests and the upgrade number was massively high. From what I can tell this is based on upgrading everyone in my booking, as I beleive work has booked this all under my booking.

Is it possible to apply for an upgrade for myself without applying for all 3 of us in my party?

Dont really want to spend 144k points

Also, does anyone have any seat recommendations for the refit 747's? For economy?

You can only upgrade all passengers on the same booking (PNR).

Some airlines will separate you onto an individual PNR, and once that's done you can upgrade your own booking.

The bigger issue if you don't get the upgrade is that being on the same PNR you might be sat together for the entire flight...

I am just a lowly silver but we can select seats.

In saying that I dont care if I have to sit next to them either as that way I at least know that I will be someone with normal dimensions and personal hygeine
