I was looking for the best business class fare for SYD-AKL (return) around Christmas and tired Google/flights - it found LAN @ $886 pp return - almost half other airlines. I clicked the link to book via the LANTAM site and it all looked OK - confirmed flights and was asking for passengers' details. So I then went to the LANTAM home page and tired exactly the same booking - this time it said no flights were available for my selected dates and offered others +/- one day at double the price. I am very puzzled - I cannot duplicate the $886 price on any other booking site and fear if I go via the Google/flights link to LANTAM the tickets might not be "valid".

Any ideas?

Interesting find, I can see the results too in AUD.

ITA shows the fare as completely valid. It may be some kind of super sale only available via certain channels. I would go ahead and book without worry, personally.

OK thanks - will report back when booked - still making the final decision on this getaway.

I found same fare in early Jan, but was unable to book it direct from google flights to Lan's site, it would go through but gave an error.. I ended up paying the same amount doing entire transaction on Lan site.
