Ive been waiting for my status credits and FF points for a Jetflex flight TSV / MEL since good Friday.

Is that a bit on the nose? I say YES IT IS!

I have claimed missing points (4 weeks ago) and made a follow up call to QF FF, got pushed off and told wait 9 (!) weeks for my points to credit... what a joke.

Due to a recent ban from AFF, I cannot say what I think using *'s, however, those who know me can work this out....

"Jetstar, #### #### ###### ##### #### #### your #### out ######, ##, ##### ##### but ##### ###### ###! And, #### #########, ## ########...!"

There! I said it and I couldn't be any clearer! I want my status credits and I want them now!

Wow, seriously getting this worked up about missing SC's for 4 weeks?

Just send your BP into QF or wait the time frame to get the SC's.

The reporting gets done in bulk every few weeks, and due to alot of people claiming points they are not entitled to it can take a while to manually go through every booking to approve or deny it. Oh lets just say about 7000+ per fortnight roughly.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

read my post again

I have been waiting 5 weeks now for points from JQ star class. Once they post im gold and i fly to USA soon so really want it to happen fast ! I replied to the email notifying of the missing points claim and i think the email was [email protected] and attached a image of boarding passes.

Is that email monitored? Will that mean they get posted when someone gets to my email? Or does it not speed the process up?

Sorry QFCSA but this is simply not good enough.

If Jetstar wants frequent travellers to treat them seriously as an airline and a participant of a very important FF program then they need to get their act together. Some people actually rely on SC's and QFF points to credit in a timely manner.

Please note Good Friday was over 5 weeks ago. Jetstar has received payment for the flights, the passenger has flown the sector and Jetstar could not be bothered to ensure the flights credit to QFF.

Total incompetence. There I said it and I did not need to use *'s or #'s....

Firstly, that is not the correct method for filing a missing points claim. Missing points claims for air travel should first be filed using the following web page:
https://www.qantas.com.au/fflyer/do/dyns/auth/claimpoints/prepop

The email address mentioned is monitored, however don't expect a speedy response.

Also, don't be worried if the points/SC's don't credit in time for your flight. The system credits the points/SC on the flight date, and your balances will be adjusted accordingly if it pushes you to a higher status level.

And in the case of your current PS (OW Ruby) status, that will be enough to get you the additional privileges to make the trip on relevant carriers that much easier. And again, once your status is updated this should print out on your BP and grant you lounge access (PriorityAAccess is open to OW Ruby).

Well i did it right. I put the missing points claim in and the email i was replying to was the one acknowledging my missing points claim. I want to get to gold so i get the lounge access. Im travelling North America for a good 6 weeks, and these points (even if just one of the flights posts, not even the return) post ill be gold. So i replied with pic of boarding pass as i have read on here some people say wait for the claim or prove it by sending in boarding passes ?!?!

I don't care, i was just stating what it is and what happens. I guess the same could be said about the AKL-SYD segments on LA too.
That is an interesting statement and not sure which way to interpret. You don't care that the SCs and QFF points for Jetstar flights take so long to post? It would be sad if the person waiting for the SCs to credit needed them for Silver, Gold and God forbid the future Gold status, Platinum. So you are actually entitled to a whole lot of extra benefits but need to deal with incompetence.

I think you will find that LAN and CX have the occasional issue but these are separate comapnies and the only realtion between them and Qantas is Oneworld alliance.

Anyway I do not really understand why anyone would expect anything logical or remotely related to customer service when Jetstar is involved. In a realistic world Jetstar would not exist and some people would not have these issues.

What I think you should do is ##### and ###### #####. Make sure you ####### and then ######. If you still have no points, then ######## #### ######, and also ###### ###.

well I still don't have my SC's so I plan to ######## # ### ## #######, then am going to #########, #####, #### and ####! they will ########## if it happens, #### ##!!!

any way, I didn't understand why you said ####### and ########## above!?!

It's a PITA but eventually they post; interesting about the many many claims for ineligible flights.

What I can't understand is why they appear to rarely post automatically ... surely it costs more resources to have to follow up.

I was trying to subtly hint that getting points out of Rdyges Melbourne is just as hard

My principal airlines at the moment are JQ and JAL. What I find particularly irksome is that if the JAL check-in person enters my FFN, it posts the next day. If the JQ person enters it, it is usually 3-5 weeks and yet if you've done any booking lately you'd think QF and JQ were the same airline. So why can't they have a seamless FF points system? Or is that being too rational?

That is really strange. I fly J* Asia often, and the points are usually credited within 48 hrs. (Often next day!)

Although I must admit, the only flight I've done with J* (ADL-DPS) took an age to appear; 6 weeks from memory, and I put in my claim request 4 weeks out - no way I was going to lose any SCs or Points due to J* ineptitude!

Must say the key for me is changing seats at the airport...if I take my allocated seat ~1-2 days later the points & SC post. If I take the (often offered) better seat I have to lodge a claim, send BP's via email and then wait 8 weeks+ to see the points & SC.

Choices :)

Howdy - yes hear what you are saying.

This isn't the first time Jet* have failed with SC & points update,it happens more times than not - but they do come through.

I currently have 140 SC outstanding from a couple of flights in March/April - was told this week Jet* is well behind and they will be through soon. (Spare me please)

Think they need to refine the system if it's a problem - which it is clearly.

Cheers,
P

Speak for yourself, man. I've been waiting on points for Jetflex flights on 24/3, 9/5 and 17/5 and still have yet to see any, despite having a manual claim form processed by Qantas over a month ago for the first two. I've sent in boarding passes and I'm still waiting.

To add insult to injury, I am FIVE POINTS away from the next tier. I have a flight on Tuesday that I'd like to use the benefits for but I cannot as they won't credit me points for up to another two weeks.

Good news - the points and SC arrived at the beginning of this week. I expected 60SC MEL/TSV yet got 40. Markis10 - we were both wrong in the estimate!
