I booked 3 QF return flights this morning for travel in March but only registered for the promotion tonight after receiving an email from Qantas. I assume these flights will qualify for DSC even though I registered for the promotion after the flights were booked??

Probably not. Suggest you get those cancelled with the same day cancellation rule and re-book. Why risk it.

Anybody having issues booking multi city trips?

Managed to get an pretty great multi city - BNE-SYD-SCL-RIO//HNL-SYD-BNE all in J (Y+ SCL-RIO), $4376 and 810 SCs. It keeps crashing prior to the payment screen.

Does anyone know what is the cheapest flexible Y fare that QF has on offer at the moment. e.g. ADL-KGC is just under $300. Looking to book the cheapest option that can be changed at a later date to a different route without the change fee. I do care about from-to any location will do. Any red deals are out of the equation.

Interesting idea. Did you test it during previous promos and DSC posted correctly after route changes?

After having experimented some, it looks like you cannot redeem gift vouchers for QBR flights. Further, the QBR member discount (even at level 1) offers up cheaper fares than are available via the gift voucher redemption search, at least for the flights I was looking at (JFK, LHR). While you don't pay credit card fees on gift voucher bookings, the QBR "member" fare works out a bit cheaper than the gift voucher fare even with the credit card fee included.

So it appears you save money booking via Qantas Business Rewards, at least for the international flights I was looking at. But the question remains: Do you get personal DSCs if you book Qantas Business Rewards fares? Does anyone know?
Couldn't you just book a personal flight via the gift voucher and then ad your ABR ABN to the booking later?

Will this do ?

Registered a couple of hours ago - still no confirmation email from QF .... not even in my junk folders!! Previous offers the email has been pretty quick - maybe another enhancement ....
I would register again. And take a screenshot as well.

I clicked on the email invitation to register and it immediately replied with a screen acknowledgement "Registration Confirmation - Congratulations you are registered for Double Status Credits" No email followed.
I then went to the QF home page and registered using the banner and I received an email confirmation moments later. Better safe then depending on QF IT.

We will this came in at the perfect time, I was just about to book my wedding flights!

Does anyone have a contact for a travel agent, that has some experience with DSC, that they can PM me?

So an update on my situation (tried to register x several but no email). Rang QF Premium line today and there was a glitch with my email. Until I called I was NOT registered for the promo even though the website said I was. They got me to re-register again and lo and behold the email confirmation came through straight away. So if you're in the same boat (no email despite registering) I would call Qantas and do what I did - don't assume you're registered for the offer from what the website tells you - you probably aren't.

Happens to me all the time I try to do a multi-city on the QF website. Call up premium CC and they'll sort it out for free.

If they mention the word "booking fee" - say that there is an issue with the website and you were to build the itinerary but not able to do the payment

I did this two days back and got the booking fee nulled

I utilised my AMEX travel credit to book CBR-MEL-SYD-WLG-SYD-MEL-CBR in J (660 SC) for $1650 ($2.50 per SC).
Excuse the n00b question. But how does one do this? I have zero luck going through Qantas multi city search tool. Even as simple as local flights like SYD-CBR, CBR-MEL.

Booked a GV this morning (21 Feb) and strangely the issue date is 20 Feb. Will be interesting to see if it receives DSCs.
