I'm new to this site and hoping for advice on how to redeem two business class flights Sydney to London return on an A380 . Out beginning last week in May, returning second week in July 2013.
Only one day 25/5 going out, nothing coming back. Any tricks? as I would prefer to get this locked in

Availability for 2 people does not appear to be there at this stage. There are single seats available on flights on various days. Perhaps look at travelling separately if at all possible.

Business Class seats on the Kangaroo Route are pretty hard to come by - in this instance you're also looking after the initial allocation (at -355 Days) has been made.

This will be compounded by the fact that you're looking to return just prior to the start of the UK summer school holidays.

Apart from the advice received to date, I'd consider subscribing to ExpertFlyer and creating an Award Fare Alert for the relevant A380 operated flights; these may or may not open up.

If you're prepared to forget the A380, I'd be looking at less direct routes - via Japan, the US, South Africa and South America. If these are available now - and you're determined to fly using points - I would still suggest taking what's available (whenever it becomes available!) and keep an Alert active for your preferred flights. Probably worth the cancellation fee.

Thx for advice, multi city on One World Bris/HK/Paris, Nice/London, London/Beijing, Beijing/HK/Bris yielded business class all through.
Spaced over seven weeks.
