Can anyone shed light onto why QF impose YQ on domestic redemptions, despite not imposing it on domestic commercial tickets? I just booked a business reward and this is the breakdown on the e-ticket (from Amadeus EITR):
As you can see, there's $28 of YQ in there.
The same flights on ITA matrix, show taxes as:
YQ is not collected. GST (UO) is higher due to the base fare attracting GST. Otherwise the other taxes are identical...
