Cool! Thanks for posting. Don't really watch that much TV, but for 250k pts, I would. Doesn't hurt that I think that Peter Fitzsimmon's one very lucky husband to have that Milfy Lisa Wilkinson :D

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Dang! Non-members only, LOL. How does that work? Oh well, if only there was a competition when I first signed up to QFF. Though Woolworths EDR had a one million points sweepstake last year.

No Lisa watchin' for me now. Oh well anyone but that annoying David Koch.

"Winner calls (1 call) made during the Today show broadcast between 0700 – 0900 AEST/AEDST"

Oooh a possible wake up call at 0400-0600 Perth time?! They'll be committed Sandgropers if they put their name in the hat!

Seriously though thats a nice amount of points... but I'll do some serious damage to the mobile phone bill if I'm signing up to that draw every week.

At least that early in the morning you'd be fairly certain it was them calling to do the greeting they require

Where did it say that?

  1. To be a valid winner:
    a. The entrant called must answer this call within five (5) rings.
    b. Upon answering the call, the entrant must state “I Wake up with Today” (oralternative phrase as deemed suitable by the Promoter in its absolute discretion). If a representative of the initial entrant answers the fixed line telephone and/ormobile telephone number from which the entry was originally received, and fulfilsthis criteria by answering with “I Wake up with Today” that representative alsohas a right to win on behalf of, and subject to the agreement with, the originalentrant as deemed suitable by the Promoter in its absolute discretion. In thisevent, both the representative and the entrant are deemed entrants and clause12 (a) – (d) applies to both the entrant and the representative.
    c. The person must answer the phone live when called. No recording devicesincluding but not limited to answering machines will be accepted.
    d. The winner must be an existing Qantas Frequent Flyer member, or become aQantas Frequent Flyer member, in order to accept the prize (refer clause 24 fordetails).

I loved how the head of the frequent flyer program was on the program live saying with 250K you could take the whole family to HKG, BKK, SIN or all of your mates to NZ or the entire footy team to OOL on JQ. I am sure the 388 in the background was one of those with wing problems ;)

Having been just across from the 2 of them on a Cruise ship i have very different ideas to you.Tony hancock's signature comes to mind though I came up with a different acronym-HCYNKWIA.Starts with How could you not know WIA.Unfortunately for them those pax from the southern states really DNKWTW.That really miffed them.

Where did it say that?

Now I'm confused. But when I went to the link /today it required you to swear that you're not an existing member, to then signup in order to be entered into the comp.

So that T&C line is pretty silly 'cos you become a member in order to win the comp. New members.

Speakada English doc! Not sure what WIA means. Wifey Is Assugly?

Anyhow closest I can get to DNKTWT, Do Not Know What That Was. LOL. Am I right?

Sooo you saw Lisa? OK yea make up and TV lights can make any gal purrrdy. But she's got pizazz. More to attraction then just looks. She's a cutie patootie petite one in my book. Sadly not many mature women on TV these days, or ever really. Only Kerri-Anne and Tracey Grimshaw. Of the three Lisa has those high cheeks when she smiles, and what can I say, I like that.

Anyhow that tool guy that she has to put up with and drunkenly told the nation on live TV at awards show that his wife has a great cough, also said Lisa is a beautiful women and he admires her. Rest my case. If a dork like him can see she's hot, then she's a Milfy.

At least now the enjoyment prevention officer won't be able to say anything when I'm watching Lisa in the morning lol

QFF & TODAY show: Frequent Flyer Wednesdays (win 250K FFP's)

From the February points balance emails being sent to all members:
Wake up with TODAY on Frequent Flyer Wednesday
Qantas Frequent Flyer and the Channel 9 TODAY show are pleased to launch Frequent Flyer Wednesday, a weekly competition where viewers can win 250,000 Frequent Flyer points by answering the phone with
"I wake up with Today". Conditions apply[SUP]‡[/SUP].

with the conditions here.

Personally, I wouldn't be caught dead watching the Today show, apart from the fact that I don't have any time in the morning to watch it (walking dogs, quickly eating breakfast with the family, getting ready for work, cajoling daughter to get ready for Prep).

(IMO the presenters are wooden, unfunny and have had major brain explosions - see YouTube)

Re: QFF & TODAY show: Frequent Flyer Wednesdays (win 250K FFP's)

We have 3 TV's rarely turn them on of a morning to watch this junk, but registered anyway because don't usually get calls at that time of day so not hard to say on picking up phone on a Wednesday "I WAKE UP WITH TODAY".

Karl is like nails down a chalk board....:D

Re: QFF & TODAY show: Frequent Flyer Wednesdays (win 250K FFP's)

I generally don't watch the show either but have entered the competition. Does anyone know if it went off this morning, the terms and conditions seem to exclude certain dates such as 15/2/2012 and 22/2/2012, or did i read this wrong?
