Qantas Business Rewards members can now get premium Qantas Wine membership for free. Simply enter the code "QBRWINE" at the checkout when signing up for premium membership online.

QBR members also earn an extra 2 points per dollar on wine purchases. So if you're a premium member, you can earn 3 QFF per $1 + 2 QBR per $1 spent (on top of any bonus points).

You don't get the free gift when signing up at no cost.

Just tried this. Not working for me.

I’m glad it’s not just me.

I went around and around in circles for my youngest daughter (on my iPhone). Gave up.

Maybe I’ll try on my pc when I get back to work.

Eventually got it to work.... Make sure you start fresh. Clear your cart if membership already in there and I logged out of ff account and bus rewards account. Then follow the link and try again.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

@danmar , followed the steps from your post and it worked like a charm ! :) thank you

Is this worth the $99 fee?

Depends on a few things, I'd say :

1. How often do you use your wine membership ? - I use it once every two months. I'm a wine lover, enjoy a glass or two, three or four times a week - love to try different wines from different parts of the world and especially, love the ones served in QF cabins. Not that the wines are always great or there are no better ones elsewhere - it's just the wines I enjoy and my mates enjoy it too

2. I recommend wines to my mates and I'm a member of other wine clubs as well - so basically for me, it's nice to be in a few clubs - share notes, experiences and the likes

3. I also do it for the points - I'm a QFF and a QBR member - so more points :)

4. I'm also a creature of habit - which means, I always like to have a certain wine with a certain meal on a certain time of the day and such :)

So for me, it makes sense. but, hey, to each his own :)

Besides, it's now free for QBR members - so why not :D

Has anyone been able to sign up if already a premium member with their QFF account to get the extra 2 points per dollar for QBR? Seems will only work for those whose QFF account is not already a premium member.

FYI on this - the code has actually changed. The current code is on Qantas Wine | Qantas Business Rewards

It seems like the business earns QBR points simply by having a nominated QFF member in their profile so you just invite an account user and make sure their QFF number is populated (or create a traveller profile with a QFF number? I'd probably do both just in case) so you probably don't need to sign up through QBR.

I've been wondering about how to actually earn QBR points from qantas wine... thanks

I have never had the QBR points just post. Each time it has been really painful chasing them up. QBR has this page to claim missing points, but no option for claiming missing Qantas Wine points. You contact QBR, they will you to contact QF Wine. You contact QF Wine, they tell you to contact QBR. It takes weeks, many emails and simply not worth the hassle for the few points you can earn. I've been through this process twice and now just given up.

I've since had a look about at my last few orders, and QBR points have happened automatically. including for the Qantas 747 cart... Except not yet for the most recent order.

Guess I need to track these things better.

I joined QBR an hour ago as my previous lifetime qantas wine premium membership ceased(?)
Linked the QBR account to my normal QFF number.
Log into QBR account here.
Qantas Wine Premium membership
Add to cart and add the code (price = free)
Purchase.

Addendum: just bought some wine, free del and 3x points/$
thanks - I used to be a Premium member when I was Platinum but when I just tried it then I'm also points club so was able to get it that way. I know I won't get Points club this year so I'll see

I was always a premium member, no expiry. Then I also qualified via points club, and when that expired last week so did my wine premium membership! Presume I am now ongoing premium for as long as I keep QBR? ie anyone sign up via QBR >1year ago?

Yes, but I’ve since attained and then requal’d as PC (buying QF wine helped…😀)…

I might be wrong, but I don’t recall having to reapply a code to maintain my premium QF wine, so it could be still off QBR.
