Hi guys, first time flying j, I didn't get the express path papers when I departed sydney, I didn't realise I was meant to ask for them either. I only realise I needed / was entitled to them after I arrived in Thailand. So on my return leg now can I ask when I check in at bkk for the express path papers for Sydney or is it only on the Sydney leg that I can ask the flight attendants if they have any?

They'll only carry them on the flight into Australia and should distribute them on board. Someone else will be able to confirm this but I thought one Aussie airport - Sydney? - wasn't handing out express cards until they finish some refurbishment or something. Or it might be Perth.

The inbound may well be printed on the BP. Ask when checking if not printed on the BP. They will probably advise they're distributed on board so ask if it doesn't happen.

My friend who always travels business with Qantas said they normally give it to him when he departs from the check in counter. They give him for departure and arrival at the same time. But on the Singapore Airlines it does state Sydney requires a separate card and it should be given to me when I depart but if it isn't I can try asking on the plane. So hopefully they have it.

While departing at the present time you wouldn't have saved time anyway as there are barely any pax flying out

On the return I've never seen the express quarantine Lane open.. If you have nothing to declare they'll shoot you through anyway

I flew SQ J into Sydney a few weeks ago. I was given express passes with the immigration arrivals card on the flight.

Yes I got them flying back into Sydney on board the flight but i did not receive them at sydney when i departed sydney to Singapore which is annoying.
