Hi Guys,

I've seemingly looked all over the place, but can't seem to find a way to add a flight that does not appear in your AA Advantage account. I booked a trip with AA through my corporate travel system, input my AA Advantage #, but it does not appear in my account. I note that it says the following on AA website "Reservations booked on another site or travel agent are not shown here. Please refresh this page if you made changes and don’t see them in your upcoming flights."

Does that mean that flights I book outside of the AA website will never show up? And more importantly, will my flights still be credited to my AA account?

Thank you all again.

Do you have your AA record locator for the trip? If so, click on "my trips", continue without logging in, input your First name + last name + record locator and your booking should come up, even if your AA number is in there (or not).
Check and see if your "correct" AA number is in the booking. If not, just get an AAgent to add it when you get to the airport.

Thanks snabbu. I was able to obtain my booking reference number and search for my flight using "find my flight on AA.com". Once I entered my passenger information, it let me edit the booking to enter my AA Advantage number. After that, my flights were immediately linked to my account which is great news! I've experienced this in the past with corporate booking systems - a lot of the time they ask for your frequent flyer number, but for whatever reason, it never actually makes it onto your final booking.

Yep I (and I'd say many others) feel your pain. My corporate TA also can't ever seem to input the correct details to a number of carriers, so each time I need to manually edit the details once I receive the PNR.
#FirstWorldProblem I know but nevertheless still frustrating.
