Hi

I’m travelling with two guests via sydney international airport. I’m Plat FF, Any hints for taking them both into the Lounge?

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

I doubt it.
There is generally someone posted at the entrance who will check boarding passes and general eligibility before letting you in.
Once you go up the escalators into the lounge area you will be checked again and your boarding passes will be scanned.

You would need both these positions / agents to wave you through to get a second guest in. Which is doubtful

In March this year 3 of us were in J with me as WP. The first checkpoint said no so someone had to go down to the J lounge while 2 of us went into the F lounge.

The SYD FLounge is very busy. You'd have much better chance at the one in MEL.

If you're close to P1 you could do the travel to level up to P1 before your trip. P1 gets two FLounge invitations a year and if you level up to that in time you could use one of these to get your 2nd friend in.

Thanks all, How about 2 guests into business class lounge? Same deal?
Your best bet is to ask nicely if they will allow you to bring in 2 guests. If not then guest one into business lounge and the other into First lounge.

How about the Emirates lounge? 2 guests into that?
I think you'll have less chance of 2 guests into the EK lounge. There have been reports of some denied access in SYD on certain flights. Perhaps to USA.

I tried to bring 2 into F and denied so we had to split up with one going to Amex lounge and two going to F

EK lounge access is only available to the regions serviced by the QF-EK agreement. The US is not part of this.

It's pretty easy to get QP/Int J invitations from a range of Black QFF credit cards if you want to all stick together.

Is this dependent of card colour, i have been allowed into the EK lounge in LAX on a number or occasions when flying on a QF12 and QF94.

Whilst I appreciate your concise response and the link, my card colour is QF white and EK has given me access to EK lounge on more than a few occasions.

It is outside of the agreement, half your luck.

I was in a group of 3 flying paid discount J (on the one booking) travelling to LHR and it was a quiet evening at the lounge in MEL and I was allowed to take an extra guest in. I was the only WP, but one of the other travellers was a SG who got to WP after the trip. That was back before the P1 FLounge invites were introduced though.
