Feeling very uninspired to collect Flybuys points at the moment, with all the uncertainty around Virgin. I wish there were a better range of travel program redemption options from Flybuys. I would welcome being able to transfer Flybuys points to Marriott Bonvoy or Hilton Honors.

I'm still sucked in by the 2,500 bonus points for spending $150 at Coles. Just wish the points could go to something better than Velocity points. I guess I'll save the Flybuys points and see what the new world brings...

I'm in the same boat. The lack of certainty with Velocity has meant that Woolworths is getting more of my spend than Coles at the moment. (The Woolworths Rewards offers have also been generally superior lately.)

I think Flybuys needs to rethink having only one airline partner that you can transfer points to. I'm not interested in merchandise or $ off at the checkout, so if something further were to happen to Virgin/Velocity then flybuys for me would lose most of its appeal. I would also cancel my Coles credit card, which I was previously happy with because of the no foreign transaction fees and ability to earn Velocity points (which I previously valued... not so much now!).

I was quite happy with the previous flybuys arrangement with Etihad Guest. Perhaps Flybuys could consider reinstating that (or similar with another airline/hotel program).

Though my FB offers are really not worth it.All year Each week the offer has been repeated until finally a change in the last 3 weeks.
Before 4 weeks of $120 spend for 10000 points.Last 3 weeks $110 spend for 4 weeks for 10000 points.Going to be a couple of years before I finally activate one. :D

I vote KrisFlyer! I’m still collecting FBs, optimistic that they can be converted into something useful in the future. Agree that WW rewards more attractive right now but QF points nearly as useless at the moment.

I may well be an outlier, but my Flybuys offers are head and shoulders above what Woolworths are offering me.

All my FB accounts receive plentiful offers relative to their WOW peers, so not an outlier.

I'm stashing them for now and if needed just convert to cash (well I have to on a couple of accounts which I can't link to a Velocity account).

I haven't had any (decent) offers from WOW on either of my family cards for years, so mine are still going to FlyBuys and keeping them in account until VA is back flying. No use transferring them to VA at present (even with the 25% bonus), I'd rather use the discount  (I know, wash my mouth out). Don't have an SQ account, so little value there for me. I'm getting reasonable offers at Coles (2.5K for $120 spend for the last 2 weeks), so Iong as they continue I'll stay put

Some of the Flybuys Travel promos are good... both accommodation and flights...

Agree! Bring back Etihad or another airline...

I'm feeling the same with Flybuys. They've closed my local Coles for 4 months, so making the trek to the next closest one is already a disincentive. Obviously my lack of enthusiasm triggered a spend deal because I got a $60 x 4 week = 10,000 points deal. Unfortunately I didn't read the fine print and spent the first week's $60 the day before the offer started (I don't think I've ever had a start date that is not the same date as the offer notification), which means my second week's $60 spend was for nothing. I think it's the universe's way of telling me to shop at my local independent grocer instead and stop spending money at Coles for points. As others have noted, Flybuys are pretty useless to me now anyway with the uncertainty around Velocity.

I'm looking forward to the Tasmanian Woolies finally signing up to the national rewards program.

Still collecting FBs because there's nothing else I can do. We only have a Coles within decent distance so FBs we just get FBs. The plan was to get a flight or upgrade with Velocity point going to UK. Velocity as an entity will wind up somewhere so the hope is to either be able to book via the old international network VA had or convert to Kris Flyer.
I'm at the point where I may as well collect them since I'm shopping at Coles anyway and just maybe somewhere when the dust settles I can use them for something more than a good domestic seat.

No different to WoW Rewards, a number of their offers start the day after the e-mail being sent. It pays to check.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Suppose I’ve been lucky to be getting decent offers through both flybuys and wwr. I’ve got ~400k flybuys points in the primary account and it pains me not to be converting them to velocity points with the current promo which waives the transfer limit but I’m still not too confident in velocity. I’m hoping Virgin picks up and I can then convert them and use them for a partner airline like SG or EY like I used to. Absolutely worse case I’ll use them to pay for flights or accomodation directly through flybuys travel. I just hope flybuys travel don’t go the way of other travel agencies and shut shop otherwise there will be no way to use points for travel!

Im finding any offers for extra points are for Coles products - which I avoid.

Last week I shopped with Woolworths and today I got a 10,000 points offer for $280 shop - Im going to order with Woolies again this week and keep giving Coles a miss.

Have been shopping at Woolies lately as my local Woolies is a much nicer store than the Coles but last week got a $50 x 4 weeks for 10,000 points promo so back to doing my shop at Coles this month. Once Virgin was on shaky ground I stopped transferring my FlyBuys over and kept them as points, using the $10 discount voucher at checkout. Was useful when I was doing my main shop at Woolies and only ducking into Coles for something small I'd forgotten. Spend $10-15 on a few items and have the $10 discount cover most of it.

Same!
New Town Coles will look good on its return.
First time in years I haven’t taken up a 10,000pts offer, but I did take advantage of the $15 off coupon in Glenorchy.....a few times before it expired.

I hope New Town looks good come September. It was a miserable store. It was only convenience and the Flybuys>Velocity points that got me through the door.

We don't convert either Coles or Woolies points to a airplane programme
We just keep them and then have them as "cash " on the card and give to our son and his family. We tend to transfer when we get to $1000 . Two out of the last three offers have been 4 weeks spend $60 each week and receive 10,000
