I'm flying SQ F for the first time, so very excited! SQ221 SIN-SYD, is that Terminal 3?

SQ website mentions a First Class Check-in Reception - is this at street level at Terminal 3? I'll be arriving by taxi, do I just tell the driver that I want to be dropped off at First Class?
https://www.singaporeair.com/en_UK/au/flying-withus/before-the-flight/lounges/firstclass-checkin/

I also assume I'll have access to The Private Room? How do I find it?

Appreciate any tips/must do/must drink/must eat...I already selected Boston Lobster Thermidor for the flight, how do I make the most of this experience without, umm, feeling overindulged?

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

From my experience the following

1 Yes tell the taxi driver SQ First Class checkin. There is a turnoff to the ledt just before you reach Terminal 3
2 You will be met at the curb, just like at a hotel. They will take your bag and escort you to SQ Representative at a desk who will check you in and look after your bags. They should also present you with your TPR Invitation. If not ask for one.
3 You will then be escorted around the end of the room to a separate Immigration section, only for SQ F passengers. They now have self Immigration, but if you want your passport stamped you need to see the officer.
4 Proceed forward and out into the terminal. If you look opposite and slightly to your left you will see a set of escalators. . They will take you up to the lounge.Show your boarding pass and you will ten be escorted to TPR

Give yourself plenty of time in the lounge for your first time. Eat and drink what you want when you want. Pace yourself.

Enjoy.

both the F class reception and TPR are fabulous. While the TPR doesn't have the visual beauty of the Qantas F lounge in Sydney, the quietness and excellent service was sooo much better.

as far as not feeling over indulged - it's hard! I am not a big eater, so after having a meal in the TPR, I could barely eat anything on the plane, which really distressed my FA. However if you like chocolate, definitely indulge in the chocolates which are on the buffet in TPR - quite delish. I am trying not to eat chocolates and generally don't eat any now, but I couldn't resist theirs.

Any issues checking in with non-F PAX at the F check in? Have Mrs NoName & NoName Jnr on the same flight in J on different tickets in a few months.

Absolutely not - this is SQ - SQ R / F pax are treated like royalty - accompanying family members as you have indicated will receive same royal treatment.

As Cruiser said no problem. I did exactly that a few weeks ago. They can also use F check in and also the F passport control.

Possibly off topic but we're planning to pop out into Singapore on our journey back from CDG to SYD in F and R. Do we pop back into the airport via First Class check-in or just the usual entry? Are there any points we need to keep in mind? TIA

If you're flying F on SQ, definitely use the F check-in, it's quite a treat! They meet you at the curb to take your bags and check them in for you while you sit at a desk spipping a refreshing drink. They take your passport while you fill in your AU arrivals card, then escort you to the F lounge where more personalised service is waiting for you (I had the papaya salad and it was wonderful)

You go from taxi to FLounge in 5 mins...no lines, no taking your shoes off, no security screening... I felt like Kim Kardashian without the fat cough

I don't see why you couldn't go through via First Class - not that you need to check in. At least that way you would get to the lounge more quickly ;) The biggest challenge I have is getting the taxi drivers to find the First Class entrance.
