Europe sea and sun Jul 2014

Seeking advice / suggestions on European (Mediterranean preferably) City / resort / location for a week of Sea and Sun July 2014.

Arriving into London where will spend a few days - then Ireland for a week - then want beach location for a week before returning to Australia.

Thought about Croatian coast - or south of Spain even - quality destination without being the totally over the top expensive tourist meccas - but quality accom / restaurants and bars / beach location – quite open really.

Is that sufficient info to turn on the suggestion tap?

Looks like a really interesting place
