Yes Z class fare, I belive thats correct and 1.15 points per mile, should be around 7000 miles each way

I'm happy with the QR J class booking I made for CGK-MXP-CGK for early August, for 18,533,800 IDR (=$1,726).

It's a 787 for CGK-DOH-CGK and a 777 for DOH-MXP-DOH, and earns 560 BAEC tp's (almost enough for OneWorld Sapphire).

I have seen those too. Unfortunately I generally need to book my flights quite far in advance so often can't make use of these deals

The price is simular to fly to CGK to CDG at the moment. Im hanging out for a deal like this that lines up with my dates for next year.

Google flights gives me $2400 (bargain!) -- but when I try to book on Etihad.com, it fails.

Very strange, it goes all the way to the credit card page, then crashes out.
Hoping its just server problems tonight ( I am in europe).

Any recommendations for online booking engines to get these fares, if Etihad.com doesn't work?

I've been watching these prices from MNL/CGK-->europe for a few weeks, and have to be back in europe for end of august - so this was perfect.

Did you go via the indonesian etihad site? Open the desktop site and change the country to indonesia and the business sale to rome is shown on the home page. Bookings sub 22000000idr though I havent taken it right through as im still confirming my dates

Yep, tried both Indonesian and Australian sites. Thanks for the tip MikaD.

Turns out it was my visa being a bit too security conscious!

Just used my wifes card, and it went straight through.

Got CGK-DUB return in J for $2401 - and its even outside the 2 month condition on the sale fares (which didnt even list dublin).

So anyone looking to get further in to europe, these seem like great prices (london is about $2700)

FYI... for anyone needing Virgin gold status -- I believe this flight alone (CGK-DUB in J) nets 480 status credits.
Thats $5 per credit.

Thanks for this it is very tempting. There is also CGK-CDG, DPS-FCO and DPS-CDG for ~$400-500 more.

Departing from CGK when I add 0-2 lap infant it prices under the sale but from DPS it doesn't. Anyone know why? Fare rules are basically exactly the same...

Not sure about the DPS route... but this is what I did...

1. Tried to book on Etihad site, could only find J fare at around 39,000,000idr. I Could not get my route/dates on the sale fare at all.
2. Went to google flights, found exact same flights, and clicked through the Etihad link from there, and was able to get it for 25,000,000idr directly on Etihad site.

Hi guys this is good deal I could see the tickets & dates I won't which comes to 2100$ but the catch is ticket is non refundable, chngeable with the 200us$ fee plus admin fee plus fare difference so it's quite risky not sure what to do
