Qantas Wine latest offering

Eeek, my QFF account (and my under desk space) is being over-run by Epiqure purchases:
31 JAN 15QANTAS EPIQURE WINE - 30JAN15--705
31 JAN 15QANTAS EPIQURE WINE - 30JAN15--8,400
04 FEB 15QANTAS EPIQURE WINE - 03FEB15--597
07 FEB 15QANTAS EPIQURE WINE - 06FEB15--5,735

Slightly OT but a big thanks to my old man for achieving his 4 dozen over the last 6 months for a total points transfer of 38k to my account. Not a bad points haul with a few great bonuses thrown in!

Aren't parents FF accounts great!

;)

Old mans 38k points now successfully in my FF account! I am now on a hiatus from epiQure as we have over 200 bottles in the house.

On another note, SWMBO and I eventually got round to moving on some of our Vintec wine fridges from the 2014 offer. We originally had 1 from a previous offer and procured 3 during the 2014 offer for a total cost of $750 (I'm not counting the value of wine/port purchased as we would have bought that regardless). We sold our original 1 and 1 of the new ones via a famous auction site for a combined value of $726 ($325 for the old one, $401 for the new one).

So we paid $24 to end up with 2 new fridges. Can't wait for that game to come around again!! :)

Slightly OT but looks like the DM special on the Taittinger is back in their "Secret Selection". Judging by the description the Shiraz on offer is the Wolf Blass Brown Label, no idea on the Pinot though.

I'd love to know if this is indeed the case (pardon the pun). Great buying at that price.

10,000 bonus points on Wolf Blass Estates of the Barossa 4-pack – $359.96. Total 11,080 + cc point.

My thoughts exactly kpc, tempting but not that tempting when Mrs QF WP sees the bill. I'll cool my heels for better offers.

That it may be, but for people that aren't used to spending $90 for a bottle of wine, they may not notice that much of a difference versus 4 bottles of $20+ wine. I'm just not in a financial position to purchase at the moment, plus my QFF balance has rocketed past 120K, the first time in 5 years
