Thanks for the rundown ellen10. I always appreciate seeing what’s in the mixed packs.

I can’t provide much guidance on the quality of the pack but I hope you enjoy it.
The Hewitson Belle Ville Rose is an interesting one. I returned it, but only because I couldn’t drink the way I like to drink rose. It’s flavour packed with a mass of residual sugar. Reasonable wine. Almost a meal in itself.
Not suited to hot day quenching.
Apart from that, I have enjoyed a few of the others but not the years you received.
Let us know how you go.
Cheers Birdyzone

I’d buy it over the Brokenwood (even though 2K points is only ~$30 value)

I buy the bonus points but I have to drink the wine...

I've actually not enjoyed the Woodlands wine the couple of times I've had it. Admittedly onboard so not optimal tasting.

I've only tried a couple of vintages but find a 12+ hour decant transforms them for me

Add me to the list of wrong wine delivered. Ordered a single bottle of Bleasedale Generations Malbec to reach the $150 voucher spend. Opened box while announcing what I bought to co-workers to find bottle of Henschke Peggy’s Hill Riesling.

An order of mine from mid-December still a no-show. Delivery company has no record. Of course the wine in question sold out a few days later. Total shambles.

An interesting set of Hewitson wines with 8K bonus points attached IIRC. Anybody had them and can give recommendations?

Hewitson makes quality wines. Many of which are designed for the long term.

Ive been to their cellar door. Understated experience. They let the wine do the talking and aren't over the top like some other places.

We’ve had the Grenache blend before and from memory it’s a nice dry red - medium body. Would definitely go it again. Their Mad Hatter Shiraz is one of our favourites.

quick question, I bought a case of six TWP which were great! but points haven't posted.
In previous experiences they have posted points in 1-5 days top, but it's been 2 weeks. Should I wait for the 6 weeks to let them know? Just also wanting to check with other members that ordered around Xmas-NY period if they have experienced a similar delay?

Thanks! :)
