I have been trying to book 2 business or first class flights to new york from sydney with Emirates but it's just not coming up at all via qantas frequent flyer website. I am sure i have searched this before and it was available. Emirates business/ first class to Europe are still coming up. Does anyone know if they have changed the online booking system or what happened??

I too saw EK to USA a couple weeks ago. Have you tried multi city? AU-DXB and then to your USA destination?

i have tried that too but it shows 'The selected itinerary is not available online. Please contact your local Qantas Office.' very strange

Last 2 times we did BNE - SEA on EK F these flights were not available through QF since there is no code share agreement btw QF and EK to the US, We had to book direct through EK. (We could not even book fully paid flights through QF.)

the weird thing is the flights can be found individually

I can still see that PER-DXB-JFK F flight on 17/9 next year I've been eyeing off...quoted at 192k points.

Oh you can just go to Multi City booking and add the SYD-DXB and DXB-JFK as two flights. As long as the connection is less than 24 hours it still prices out at 192k points (example: see 27/11/18).

the weird thing is when i tried multi city, it says 'The selected itinerary is not available online. Please contact your local Qantas Office.'

On the booking page there are two buttons... (1) 'use money, points or both' and (2) 'use points - Classic flight rewards only'.

If you check the first box, 'use money, points or both' you get an error saying the selected itinerary is not available online.

If you select the second, the itinerary displays as per Doctore1003's post.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.
