I find the article somewhat confusing...does this mean that EK418/419 will be terminated or that the A380 service is in addition to the current 777 daily flight?

I just got off the phone with QF and they have already updated my itinerary, so the same QF flight number (QF8765) from CHC to SYD is now the QF codeshare on EK413 instead of EK419.

As a part of this change the AKL SYD A380 flight now goes via BKK. AKL, SYD, BKK, DBX.

We just scored 2 (yes I repeat 2) F ff tickets BKK to SYD first week in Jan17 when nothing else was available. Happy happy days
Seats 3 E&F SWMBO said we could chat over dinner (and bubbles):D

I was booked on a EK F 77W CHC-SYD flight for December which has been changed to an A388 and I'm curious to know, does CHC ever connect two aerobridges to an aircraft?
The reason that I ask is that I've only ever seen one connected and if you look at the photo here (Christchurch Airport celebrates ten years of Emirates service | NZ Airports - Christchurch Airport ) of two A380s as CHC, you'll note that both are only connected to one aerobridge each.
Boarding is going to take forever (and I'm not sure my ego could handle having to queue up with hundreds Y pax.)

I don't have the answer, but I would assume they need at least one bridge connected to each deck. I can't imagine they would carry low mobility PAX up and down the stairs:shock:
