Emirates reward flights not showing up on Qantas?

Hi

Sorry if this is a silly question but if I can see reward flight availability on the Emirates website but not on the Qantas website is there a way to still book the Emirates flight as a classic reward through Qantas? I can see other other Emirates flights listed on Qantas with classic reward availability but not the one I'm interested in.

Thanks, Amanda

Unfortunately there is no clear answer to this, for the following reasons:

1) EK will make slightly more seats available for its own members than to partners
2) The QF website is notoriously unreliable. I had severe problems with 'phantom' availability a few months ago when booking.
3) I was able to book online a ticket that the QF phone agent was unable to see and insisted was not available at all. All the phone agent could say was that QF IT systems are grossly unreliable. Fortunately she was able to add the connecting flights I wanted on to the booking without imposing a change fee.

Thanks for your reply. Maybe I will ring QF and see if they can see it on their end
