Looks like Emirates has suspended BNE services - but SYD and MEL are still going. Does anyone think those services will be suspended as well?

Are you referring to the BNE service via SIN?

EK has been cancelling the sector between SIN and BNE in the last week, so they may have already terminated the route...

No - not the SIN flight - DXB-BNE is no longer able to be booked from this morning which was there yesterday. I can still find flight to Sydney and Melbourne from 2/4 - that's when the DXB ban for residents are supposed to end but no BNE flight.

No? Just tested an could make a booking BNE DXB LHR.

Maybe they will drop flights but still seem to be available atm.

Flights have been suspended to the following destinations (Updated 21 March at 18:00):
Adelaide: From 23 March – 20 May
Brisbane: From 29 March – 30 June
Melbourne (via Singapore): From 23 March – 20 May
Melbourne: From 29 March – 30 June

So Sydney and Perth are still OK for now? I wonder how long they will still last...

Just heard from a number of people trying to get back to AU from UK (MAN) that tonight's EK flights will be the last out.

I'm flying from LHR tomorrow (23/3) on QF2, which still has a fair few seats, but I'm sure it will be relatively well subscribed to by Aussies trying to get back...

Hope the lounge is open in LHR T3, anyone know?

Are you sure about Manchester? It's not on the list of cancelled flights, and Emirates is still selling tickets for next week.

BTW, Singapore is banning transit passengers from 11.59pm on 23 March. How would this work for QF2 (and BA15)?

I believe Emirates has just cancelled all passenger flights until further notice.

Yep. Last flights departing on Wednesday.

Remain on board?

Under normal circumstances, passengers are not allowed to remain on board during the Singapore transit. I haven't heard of any exception being given to Qantas/BA?

My bet is the flights will unfortunately be cancelled.

Reply to this article suggests BA advice is flight stopover at Changi would be good (even this Friday):

Might give Qantas a call, cough. Possible bump to LHR-PER, which was originally going to become a twice-daily service before Qantas int'l cancellation? Surely those are pretty full...

Looks like Emirates has provided an update and a small number of destinations will be maintained beyond Wednesday, including in the UK and Australia, as long as demand is there.

If that's your plan, get on it ASAP. I think I was fortunate to be offered one of the last seats on QF10 before it ceases operation on 27 March.

No QF services avaliable through website LHR-SYD, only EK codeshares... still on hold with QF (2h15m) lmao.

Just got off the phone. QF2 is running tomorrow and transit will be OK according to QF customer service.
