from news.com.au:

Emirates said it still has confidence in the Airbus A380 superjumbo despite some concerns about its reliability.

The carrier was responding to questions about a report in German magazine Der Spiegel that said Emirates took a 46-page set of slides to what the publication called a "crisis meeting" between the two companies outlining maintenance problems with the aircraft.

I wonder how much effect the modifications required to fit a shower and carry 500Kg of water has on the plane...

My mum flew in J on the A380 DXB-SYD a few weeks ago and thought it was awful...

She thought the staff were completely unfamiliar with the set up, the seats were too narrow (and she is a petite person) and the service generally was average - they brought her sausage and eggs for breakfast - not she chooses the vegetarian special meal... She wont pay to fly in J on EK again

My dad flew in whY yesterday (mum came over earlier due to the baby problems and could only get in J at short notice) and was pretty happy with the product although the sound on the IFE ket dieing during the movies.
