Sorry if this has been posted elsewhere, I can't seem to load any pages when I search...

I am booked (on QF stock) to go to Frankfurt in September with Qantas and Emirates in J. On the DXB-FRA leg, it was previously showing a 3 class bird (777). When I looked again today, it's showing a 2 class with 6 rows in J. The Emirates "choose my seat page" shows a bassinet in rows 1 and 6. It also shows a bulkhead between rows 5 and 6. Despite my best efforts, the only config I can find on the EK fleet page shows a 2 class config with "sleeperettes". A page over on flyertalk suggests there is another newer configuration. Has anyone flown on this?? Is this a new config? Are they lie flat? Angled?

I would prefer not to be in a sleeperette...

Thanks!

Just had a look-see...still not sure. There is a 73J and 73R config by the looks...but I can not ascertain which is which. I may have to call EK.

I think I found it...I believe it's a 73J config...which I think is the new one with lie-flat...

Just travelled first from Athens through Dubai Then KL to Melbourne last weekend. The 777-300ER was the three class Private set up with 8 suites in first of the 1-2-1 config in two rows with business class immediately behind. I had a brief look at business class and the middle seat of that centre section looked a bit cramped so def go for an aisle seat or window if that is your pref. service was exceptional and extremely comfortable. On the KL to Melbourne leg there was only two of us in first so the staff set us up with a window side suite for day use and a centre side suite for sleeping. My preference would be though to get the A380 direct Dubai-Melbourne so as not to have to stop in KL which added 3 hrs to the trip. Jet lag once home has been almost non existent thanks to,the comfortable trial - thanks Emirates!
