Yes, I do realise we have a specific non flyer rewards section, but I would just like to do this one, but if Mods decide, this can be moved to specific WWR section.
So, easy 2,175 QFF points.
We all know of the bonus 5,000 WWR points earn on your first WW home delivery.
And it does say they will not charge the $11 delivery fee.
I tried it a few mins ago, very easy process.
And at firs appearance, they didn't take off the $11, but in the end, on check out, they do a (-$11.00) so effectively, no delivery fee, for home delivery tomorrow arvo.
This for once beats the Coles / FB offers.
Can't wait for the 2,175 QFF points! For a $52.xx spending.

Interesting. I didn't realise there was a bonus on first delivery. So 5,000 Woolworths rewards for all first deliveries or does it have to be Qantas points?

The T&Cs say you need to spend minimum of $150...

Free delivery and 5,000 Woolworths Rewards points only applies for new shoppers when you spend $150 or more in a single transaction

Ah, (re: that $150 to get 5,000), now that one is a stinker.
Should have read the t&c before going for it.
Johnk, after what Want2flymore mentions in the t&c, I think I got over excited too quickly.
So I only gain by not having to pay for the $11 delivery charge.
The offer runs till the end of Aug 17, so if you want, and you are not a current WWOnline customer, you could get the 5,000 WWR points, which then transfers to QFF points.
From the way I understand WWR, you have to earn WWR points first and thats 1 point per $1 spent, exclu mobile phone recharges.
Thanks Want2flymore.
Edit: had spent $52 in WWOnline, and got 52 points in my WWR account, no bonus.
Serves me right for now reading.
Ok, back to my box.

How on earth do you equate 5000 Woolies Rewards points to 2,175 QFF?

The way WWR works currently is 870 QFF points for each 2000 WWR earned (transfered every quarter)

thus 5000 WWR would only nett 1740 QFF points (plus 1,000 carry over WWR).

What am I missing?

870 x 2.5 is your answer.

870 x 2.5 is your answer.

oh right. duh

still, it doesn't quite work out that way given the 2000 point "blocks" WWR uses, so it's 1740 + the carry over going towards the next 870 :)

thanks for that though.

As an aside for WWR punters, I've noticed a little fun way to rack up a few WWR's relatively inexpensively: Reecntly I've had 2 offers covering a period of time for products - 1 for OAK Milk (200 points per) and another for 200 WWR points for News ltd newspapers for a month (eg: Herald Sun, Australian etc). Now the trick is, the WWR system treats different newspapers in the list, or different flavours of milk (or even I suspect multiples of the same item, but have not tried that) such that I've got 400 WWR's for buying a HUN and an Oz, and I've gotten 400 in the one shop for 2 milks.

And the newspapers for a month means if I buy even the 1 paper at woolies daily(and I normally get a paper about 3 or 4 days a week as it is) then I'm going to earn, more or less, 4000 WWR's on that promo alone assuming 5 papers a week over a month. Or, 1740 QFF's at a cost of $32

It's handy to read the T&C's of these offers as sometimes they are clear on multiple redemptions of the offer, and then one can go to town. Some are one time only offers too, so it always pays to check.

Now I realise not everyone gets the same targeted offers, but it's not a bad earner for something I mostly do anyway. :)

Without the included earning WWR on prepaid mobile phone recharges, or utilities like AGL and FB, and the big bonus points earning capabilities with FB, WWR points take a long time fram to accumulate.
Thats why when I say the 5,000 possible earn on WWR on first home delivery, I just jumped in without reading the t&cs.
