Hi guys, we are off to Bali in July (2 adults / 3 Children) for 8 days. What is the best way to earn as many FF points and benefits possible? I have paid the fares with my Woolworth's Credit Card which is linked to Frequent Flyers. The accommodation will be paid for over in Bali as I have booked using my Accor membership (a worth while membership). Is it better to pay with my Woolworths everyday credit card or Dinners Club which I am also a member of? I am not sure who charges the higher fees. I would appreciate any help from the experts please. :D:confused: Regards Ross

Re: Earning Qantas FF Points

I would have a close look at credit card fees for overseas transactions versus points earned, when using a credit card overseas 5% extra cost may negate the value of points earned compared to using a 28 degrees card or Citibank debit card which have little fees for foreign charges.

I have a Dinners Club card, how does that compare?? Yes I really do need to revisit some of these fees, you are right. Do the cards you have mentioned attract FF points Markis10

No they dont, but they have little or no fees for overseas charges, including ATM withdraws that dont attract points anyway. Overseas the pursuit of points via credit card spend for Australian residents can be expensive, I would expect a family to attract at least $300-400 in fees while overseas, using another option those savings could be used to pickup 4000 points on a couple of clearance cases at Qantas Epiqure.
