Duty free liquor to Aust from SIN

Forgive me if this has been asked before, but a search was unhelpful.

I have not been through Changi for a few years; am flying home to PER from SIN T1 later this week. Just checking, if I buy some whisky from the airside DFS, will they seal it and deliver it to the gate to allow me to carry it on the flight?

Yes they will - you are allowed 2.25ltr alcohol - but must be purchased 90mins or > before dep time. You can get around the 90min window by purchasing via iShopChangi if you desire.

Thanks, hoped this would be the case but have had conflicting reports. Actually found some significantly better than Dan's deals on single malts so keen to take advantage!

For the iShopChangi purchases are they just delivered to the gate or do you need to go to the collection point first?

We have a relatively short transfer on the way home so delivery to the gate would be pretty convenient.

They still need to be delivered to gate - all DF ex SIN must be delivered to gate - if you collect it pre security on dep it will be confiscated.

If you have time go and check all is good to go for delivery to gate - I only know the desk in T3 which is actually same desk you collect Changi $s. I have done this twice but it was couple years back and memory bit fuzzy but it did work fine. I think you might have to visit the desk so they can verify BP.
