I remember seeing advertised somewhere all SYD-PER services were to be on A330.

This seems to have quickly changed with the 1730 flight from Jan 2014 been downgraded to a 737 service.

Anyone know more?

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Are you aware what refurbing is happening? It'll be nice if they get closer to the newer ones. :)
After how hard their previous owners flew them, it's not likely to be much nicer ;)

Would be nice if they re-fitted the interior, but I don't believe that'll happen.

IIRC that flight only recently became an A330 too.

It is quite unfortunate, that since the fanfare of their coast to coast launch, Virgin's (non-stop) frequency on SYD-PER is now only 4 flights a day. Two in the morning and two in the evening.

So VA has forced me back onto Qantas for some flights - with QF's vastly inferior product :(, but vastly superior frequency!
