Just got a Double Status Credit Offer wrapped into the Flybuys Double Status Credit Offer. - Targeted . Anyone else get it ?

Would love to have seen the eligible flight and/or shopping period extended through a slightly more generous period of time.... If this is in place of the once traditional summer double status credits offer, then consider me disappointed.

Received this too. It's my understanding that this only counts for flights actually flown by VA, is that correct? I wouldn't be able to book an SQ flight on a VA ticket and receive double credits, would I?

Go this too. Why didn't this come sooner, I make VA Gold next week anyway. My flights through Dec are all booked (Dec is the quietest month for travel ). Can someone confirm if this is for new bookings or existing bookings with travel dates before 31st Dec are included too?

I only got the DSC shop promo. I have zero status with va. I suspect they considered my spending on my Amex and my 2 reward flights with va with upgrades. Unfortunately my personal circumstances don't align with this promo.

Didn't get this offer or the flybuys double sc offer. Pretty disappointing. I'm really pushing to get to WP and need an extra 10-20 sc to get me over the line based on my future travel.

1 x SC per $100 spent is a slow way to earn points but i guess it's better than nothing and may help some people. Never got the offer though...

2 per $100 is a decent offer though, especially over the Christmas period. Unfortunately hasn't been offered to everyone.

Yes but often Ive read someone is 10 or 20 SCs short for the year and I guess as we have to buy groceries, might as well make an extra SC out of it. I ordered Coles platters and other stuff for Melb Cup and looks like Im going to get 5 SCs out of it, so for some they add up.

Exactly. I will be within 10-20 sc of WP based on future travel and before my sc start dropping off. Unfortunately living in Darwin it is not cheap, quick or easy to do a status run like east coast members. So being able to get sc from doing something we all need to do anyway, is pretty helpful.

Mmm I got the double SC email as well, one day after work trip booked.

Not sure what I should do with it, just started looking at FF programs, and only on 180sc and with Family Pooling will get Silver anyway.

I also have Lounge Access for $200/yr so is there much benefit to going for Gold?

I only received the Flybuys double SC offer - the additional Velocity one wouldn't be much use as I'm not flying again (barring family emergencies) until March 2017.

Nope it's definitely targeted. You need to activate the offer in your "offers" section on the flybuy page. And it's only there if you received the offer. I linked my account on the day the flybuys linkup started, no offer to activate for me. A heap of other people are also not seeing the offer. Pretty frustrating.
