Offer details
Registration link

Applies to all QF operated and marketed flights, as well as QF flight numbers operated by EK between AU and NZ. As usual, you have to register first - link is above.

The nitty gritty (bolded parts are mine for emphasis):
You must be a member of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program to earn Qantas Points. A joining fee may apply. Membership and Qantas Points are subject to the Qantas Frequent Flyer program Terms and Conditions.^ This offer is valid when you register and make a new booking on an Eligible Flight between 12.01am (AEDT) 31 March 2017 and 11.59pm (AEDT) 3 April 2017, for travel between 15 April 2017 and 28 February 2018. An Eligible Flight for the purpose of this promotion means any Qantas operated flight with a QF flight number on the ticket where Qantas Points are normally earned, excluding Classic Flight Rewards and any flight with a QF flight number on the ticket which is not operated by Qantas including Jetstar, Jetstar Asia, Valuair, Jetstar Japan, Jetstar Pacific and other partner airlines except for a Qantas marketed flight operated by Emirates between Australia and New Zealand with the following flight numbers: QF8764, QF8763, QF8762, QF8761, QF8770, QF8771, QF8766, QF8765. Qantas Points may not be earned on some fare types and booking classes. For full details, see the Airline Earning Tables and terms and conditions. Your Qantas Frequent Flyer membership number must be recorded at the time of registration and booking to earn double Status Credits. Qantas may extend or withdraw the offer. Each passenger in the same booking must register to qualify for this bonus offer. Flights can be booked via qantas.com, a travel agent or Qantas Contact Centres. Fees may apply. Bonus Qantas Points are based on the Base Rate which applies, or the Minimum Points Guarantee if applicable and for the purpose of this promotion does not include any Status Bonus that may apply for tier members. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other bonus offer by Qantas. Only one double Qantas Points offer can be used per individual qualifying segment of your itinerary. However, double Qantas Points may be earned on multiple eligible flight bookings if you book and travel within the promotional dates as listed above. If you qualify for multiple offers, the offer first-registered for will be applied to each individual qualifying segment. Full or part travel of an itinerary is eligible only if you book (regardless of payment date) and travel within the promotional dates as listed above. If you cancel your initial qualifying booking or change it to be outside of the eligible travel period this bonus offer will not apply. Bonus Qantas Points may take up to 6 weeks after completion of your travel to be credited to your Qantas Frequent Flyer account.

Wasn't there a double points promotion last month? Forward bookings mustn't be looking good with the ever increasing airfares.

There was a double points offer, in February from memory. I made a couple of forward bookings.

Not last month but mid-January. I registered for that promotion too.

About to book return fares to LHR in J but they're a ridiculous price at the moment - always the way when there's double points it seems! Disappointing!

It'd much better on forward bookings if Qantas reduced airfares back to reality.

Just on 3 months into the year and 2 double point promotions and a double SC promotion.

Maybe they'll do another Double Status Credits promotion if this new promo doesn't get them as many booking as they'd like. It will be interesting.

A great offer.

As an aside, I find it sad that companies (and Qantas isn't alone in this, nor is it a knock at them) have to use time like 2359. "Midnight on 3 April" may be open to interpretation but "12am 3 April" is not. Perhaps it's a reflection on society.

It's the most unambiguous way to tell people when it ends. If you told people it ends midnight on 4th April then some people will assume they have the night of the 4th to do it, which is not the correct interpretation of the actual offer.

I wonder if my combo will work.
Used up my $150 pre purchase gift voucher for myself, x 2 QF SC (hopfully) from the last lot offer early ending Feb 17.
Registered for this current double QFF offer, so across from SYD to AKL will be double QFF points or Qpoints as they call it now, and also double QF SC if it works out. Coming back in J, AKL - MEL - ADL with either EK with a QF flight number, or Jetconnect, will get me close to retaining SG.
Thanks again, who ever at QF that thought up of this double QFF points/Qpoints, some might not like you, but you are still the light of my k9 eyes!!!

I made an assisted (by phone) booking yesterday using a voucher. Do you think this will get the double points?
