We are planning to have Bub fly over to meet her grandparents in India. Will be flying J on SQ, both wife and I are VA WP. Does the bub earn any SC at all. It will be a revenue ticket.
Thanks all..

Not sure what you define as Bub.

However, anyone who is over 2 years old on a paid ticket in their own seat earns points and status credits. Infants (under 2) who travel without a seat (ie on a parents lap) aren't eligible for points or status credits.

There is no restriction on age for velocity membership.

Take not that the need to occupy their "wn" paid seat to earn points/SC's. e.g.
21.3 Status Credits for Infants

21.3.1 Members under the age of 2 years who do not travel in their own paid seat on a Virgin Australia or Airline Partner flight will not be entitled to earn any Status Credits.
(There's a similar clause for points erning.)

If they will earn points/SC's these could be "family pooled".

Thanks guys. Bub will be around 3 months, will set up her FF number but not expecting any SC.

We never got any for our little one - and she probably did ~40 flights (international and domestic) in her first 2 years. Easiest way to think about it is that the SCs are "per seat, not per passenger"
