Hello

I have been using Emirates since the last ten years, never had this problem. I feel your Emirates airline staff needs some serious customer training, they shouldn't be working if they got attitude problem and don't know how to service their customer. No doubt Emirates is reducing their service from Australia because of lack of business. The problems I faced during my flight from Sydney to Dubai on 29/03/2019 is listed below and I feel too embarrassed to recommend Emirates because of:
1. Strange behaviour of some Airline crew, two male staff at Sydney Airport fooling and laughing while staff briefing was going on.
2. Lack of responsibility and courtesy.
Don't think Emirates staff is aware we as a customer pay their wages and without us their Customer service Manager, your staff and your CEO, your entire airline would be out of business just because some crew didn't perform their duties according to their job description.

Here are the problems listed below:

1. I lost my glasses underneath the seat which I couldn't find, I asked your crew for help you know what his bloody reply was "What do you want me to do" should I expect such a rude reply from a prestigious airline crew I don't think so. I paid for my ticket and I expect some dignity and respect. Is this Emirates slogan "Hello Tomorrow" I bet your Airline won't be in business for tomorrow.

2 I was standing near the rear end where the toilets are located, talking to fellow passenger as we didn't wanted to disturb passenger Emirates crew came and said we are sleeping here stop talking here. Woh!!!!!!! So your crew sleep during their duties how dare he told us not to talk, he should be terminated immediately, so your crew are paid to sleep during their working hours?? Is that right?? Then we should be working for you for getting paid doing nothing.

Emirates didn't had any courtesy to reply my mail they know that their staff were wrong

Just to clear any misunderstanding, this isn’t an official EK website, it is a frequent flyer forum

Regarding point 2 … I'm not sure which aircraft you were on, and I'm not saying that they did or didn't handle the situation well… however on some aircraft such as 747's (and I imagine a lot of long-haul aircraft would have this ability) there are cabin crew sleeping areas for when they're doing long shifts. They wouldn't get any sleep otherwise, and it's going to be part of their working conditions to get this sleep onboard when they won't be getting sleep otherwise. In the 747 it's in the base of the tail above the rear galley & toilets.

It was not 747 and further we weren't talking in loud voice and it was not night time

Yes I know but I want other people to know
Ok. I gather English is your second language which you write very well. But using ”Your” rather than “their” confused us a little.

I think the issue about crew needing to sleep on a long flight has been explained. Maybe you struck just an unhappy crew which you do say is a first and when a crew is poor at service then they can be really poor. But it happens on all airlines.

Night time is irrelevant for a long flight. And also it’s good to not be quite so blunt when people are trying to explain what may have happened to you.

Doesn't worry me.Haven't flown EK and probably never will.

Ok, I’ll assume this is a cut and paste of your complaint to EK.

As soon as you mention things such as the reasons why EK are cutting services, your complaint will be a generic fob off.

1) Mention has already been made of why there is a Crew Rest station on the flight. To add to this, if you were flying to certain destinations you most definitely would have been told to return to your seat. To ask for the staff member to be terminated immediately due to this is wishful thinking as it will not happen, nor will you ever be advised of it happening.

2) I’m not sure what you are trying to insinuate about the briefing at SYD.

I have re-read your letter and with some of the “insults” thrown in I am not surprised you never got a response. EK are notoriously hard to get a response out of at the best of time so I’m not surprised at all
