Do more seats open on Air Canada flights?

Hi,

Does more seats open on Air Canada flights as it gets closer to departure? Like they would do on Qantas at T-80. Asking for a long-haul flight in Premium Economy.

What is it you are after as I do not understand your question. At QF T-80 better seat selection opens up, Are you looking for reward availability or just better seating allocation?

Its been a few years since I was active in their program, so I don't think its changed much.

If you are asking if AC open up more award seats closer to departure, the answer is generally no. Their status levels have staged access to award and upgrade inventories, and whats left over I think usually gets proactively used in op-ups.
