Hi Folks

Haven't done any travelling in 2010 but do have some trips due before my year ends at 31st March.

I have lots of shopping points, but do JASA's count towards the minimun 4 sectors needed?

Regards

Turnip

Hi Turnip,

Yes they do qualify as sectors. So you can use them for that purpose.

Are you hoping to achieve status through a JASA? Given zero flying in your qualifying period that is 300 SCs you need form awards.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Thanks for the replies.

I am not going to retainn silver this year, but thought that I had to mave a minimum of 4 sectores to remain a "member" of QFF.

Judging by the questions regarding maintaining status, then there is no need to have minimum sectors to avoid losing points.

the 4 sectors is only relevent if you are attaining any status.

Points and status are unrelated. Under the amended rules you simply need some points activity through your FF account every 18 months (max) to ensure your points are safe. This activity requirement specifically excludes family transfers.

Yep just get yourself a Woolworths Everyday Rewards card, link it to your QF card and spend at least $31.00 at Woolworths/Safeway/Big W/Dick Smith or any retailer in the Woolworths group every 18 months and you won't lose any accrued points.
