Just a tip for our WOAG users. If you have a DJ WOAG Flexi booked and want to upgrade it, it has to be M class, not D class.

Yeah, I've hit this problem a few times. If you are forced to choose D class due to booking restrictions you can call up Velocity and then can upgrade you from D to M for the difference in fares and then upgrade from there. Good if the difference is only $10 between D and M and you are happy to fork it out of your own pocket when the company won't.

WOAG = Whole of Australian Govt fares for those of you playing at home. They are discounted Govt fares which don't include FF points.

Heard by another channel that it's a glitch. Proper prices haven't loaded properly yet.

Interesting, hope so otherwise I guess I'll be flying QF cause the prices are alot better...also noticed that lounge access we received as part of a particular fare has been removed which would be a real bummer and hope its also a glitch!

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Sorry, "rollout" of what? The new travel arranger's system (that looks incredibly more complicated over the old system)?

Not sure if you are being sarcastic or not?

There probably arent many WOAG users on the forums, but I thought it was worth highlighting to those that do read these.

Seems VA flexi's which used to be many of the cheapest to our TMC booking engine, have seen big increases and now QF trumps them on a bunch of routes I check out.

Also have found out that if you have an old D class booking, that the changeover has seen them migrate to an upgradable class

No, no sarcasm. So by "rollout" you're referring to the new travel arranger's system and its impact on VA fares?

I'm sure there are plenty of WOAG users..... just we never get to see the fares. The all powerful EAs control that market. :p

I cant see a new travel arranger's system in my organisation, what I can see is an increase of the VA flexi's when using it since the switch over to Sabre, that's what I was referring to. For me the TMC booking engine is exactly the same as before.

Ahhh, okay. Gotchya. Thanks.

Virgin gave me one of those complimentary Domestic business upgrades recently - does anyone know if these can be used with WOAG fares?

Provided its been moved to or is one of these classes of flexi fares (YBHKL) then yes. Call the GCC and check.
