Can anyone confirm whether you disembark from Virgin Australia's 777 at LAX from the very forward door (in front of Row 1) or from the exit between Rows 4 and 5? I'm fairly sure that it's the latter but am trying to get my facts straight ahead of a discussion with VA r.e. duty-free that I accidentally left on board the plane (but not subsequently in lost-and-found).......

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

last i flew we walked through the most forward door, but i think generally it's the door closest to rows 4 and 5...

Flight approx. 2 weeks ago, row 1 exit door was opened about a minute before row 5 exit.

Not trying to be rude, but if you're relaying the 'facts' in your story, it's probably best to rely on your account of what actually happened rather than recreating something based on what someone on AFF says probably, or might, or should have normally happened.

No offence taken - I'm 95% sure it was the door between Row 4 and Row 5, but wanted to double-check, just in case someone told me that they ALWAYS use the front exit........

I accept full responsibility for leaving my duty-free on the plane, but wanted to flag to VFF that they never turned up - I was sat in seat 1D and put the bottles by the magazine rack while I got my bag from the locker, then forgot to pick them up again. However, if (as I recall), we exited via the door between row 4 and row 5, and given that I was the last person to leave business class, no other passengers can have walked past them so it narrows down what can have happened to the bottles as they've not turned up in lost-and-found. It was a Keyneton Euphonium and an RSW Shiraz, so not cheap.......

Hey ho - lesson learnt

door 2L (between rows 4 & 5) has been the case for both disembarkation and boarding at LAX in my experience.
