Has anyone been in the DAA executive lounge in Dublin in T2? It is an EK partner lounge. if you have, what do you think about it?

There is a entrance fee of 25 Euro - was it worth it?

I know about the pay pass thing, Citi-bank, Plat Amex lounge pass thingy, not signing up for either.... This will be a one off visit, just if you have been in this lounge (for whatever access you had) is it worth the visit?

thanks in advance...

Openseat, thanks for the opinion. I have read very mixed reviews on line etc from being "tired and worn out", "comfortable" and "good - but..."

As it is an EK partner lounge, I thought I might have read better but I suppose not many EK flights from Dublin each day...

It was just a toss up, whether to spend 25e and get into the lounge or just drink Smithicks in the airport bar waiting for the flight to DXB.

Thanks again.

We spent about 1 1/2 hours in it this year - I agree with openseat that it was very ordinary. At least the staff were friendly - but way overworked. The snacks were fine.

I guess it depends on whether you will spend more than €25 in the bar.;)

Never been in the T2 lounge but have been in the T1 lounge (same operator, it seems). Not the world's best lounge, but I've seen worse too. OK if you're getting in for free, but I don't think it's worth €25 (A$35-40) per person though. Definitely not worth turning up early for. I'd probably look for a decent bar/restaurant in the terminal instead.
