Hi, I have a couple of flights on a CX 777 ER. Any comments plse on 11K (priority seat when I'm not needing it and could get bumped), or would I be best to just go with 16K? Thanks

And, assuming it's still BYO PJs in J?

Assuming you're not in the version where row 11 is in the mini cabin behind F, I'd go for 16K.
Flapping curtain and foot traffic at 11K.

Yes, I am in the mini cabin, but as a priority seat (and there does seem to be quite a few P seats), I wonder if I should play it safe and go to 16. On the other hand, I like the mini cabin. ;)

I can't remember if there's a flapping curtain btw F and J?

In that that case I'd definitely stay in the mini cabin.
There's still the curtain, but It'll only be the FAs passing through to F, not every man and his dog on their way to the lav.
And, personally, I wouldn't worry about the P seat aspect.

Ok, great thanks. I think I'll risk it. Does the A or K side have less foot traffic?

Its strange that CX's seat plan says 700-300ER for 2 sectors with different seat plans. How does that work? One has a mini cabin and one not.

Absolutely without doubt 11K!

As mentioned the only traffic will be the FAs, but the 'K' side will get the most of this as the galley is located forward of 1K - so that's the side of the plane everyone will use when they need to pass through the cabins for whatever.

But being in the front row of the mini cabin (which as pointed out above is only on 4-class planes with F) means no passengers passing you, no noise coming from in front of you, and the galley far enough behind you to minimise distubance. During the sleep phase of the flight row 11 is one of the best you'll get.

Don't worry too much about the priority seat. I don't think I've ever come across anyone saying they've been moved (but i guess it must happen on the odd occasion for a genuine operational reason).
