My wife has a TravelBank but have a couple of questions as not 100% clear from the FAQ's

1. Does she have to book flights by the expiry date or actually have flown?
2. My reading of the rules is that TravleBank cannot be used to pay cash part of points + cash flight, i/e/ must be for a paid flight only, is that true?

1. You only need to book a flight before the credit expires.
2. This is correct. You also can't use Travel Bank credit to pay for ancillary items like exit row seats. This stinks IMO but I'm sure VA isn't alone here.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.
