CXs growth in the US market is what surprised me most in that

When you think about it, CX have great geographical location to link US & Southern/Western China/SE Asia (and even isn't too out of the way for the rest of China). Probably one of (if not the) top tier carriers for US-China, and has simpler connections to a lot of Chinese cities (vs flying into Mainland China gateway city and connecting domestically).

Absolutely. It makes heaps of sense. I just never thought about it.
 
Buying into Dragonair was a smart strategy.
 
Not for consumers unfortunately with the return to a monopoly but yes see what you mean

drron, the most interesting aspect is the marked reversal in QF capacity over 10 years. Everyone else is in the positive.
