Looking to book a MEL-SIN-HND service.
When looking as a the entire connecting service - some flights are waitlisted.
However if I break it down and search individually, MEL-SIN (shows availability) but the SIN-HND is waitlisted.
Thus why the entire MEL-SIN-NRT is then waitlisted.
MY question - if I am looking to upgrade, and I book the entire flight as one, do you get the MEL-SIN leg confirmed and the SIN-HND stays waitlisted? Or do you have to have both legs clear to secure the upgrade?
