Complimentary diamond membership only one year

I was given Hilton Diamond in January 2018 by using my VA Velocity Platinum complimentary membership. Contrary to the general consensus that this would give me Diamond through to March 2020, seems I am only going to get it through to March 2019 as my account is telling me "Based on Nights earned this year, your 2019 tier would be Member" and "diamond You need 60 Nights to retain Diamond in 2019"

Has anyone else done the VA status comp ? Any advice for chasing this up?

Your complimentary membership is not based on nights. “Nights” refers to retaining it the hard way.

Nothing to worry about in your case.

Edit: Your complimentary status is not affected by nights, stays or $$$

Don't get hung up on the wording on that page. It doesn't take everything into account. It only takes nights/stays into account, not what your complimentary status gives.

On your 'My Account' page, click on 'My Hilton Honors Card' and see what date it has displayed on it.
