I've been looking at which QF flights earn the most SC from the East Coast to UK/Europe. Connecting via Perth seems to be the winner.

Came across a quirk with SYD-SIN-LHR, this earns 5 less SC in Business if you use QF81+ QF1 and not QF1 all the way. In all other classes the earn rates seem to match.

SYD-SIN-LHR using QF1 all the way is 295 SC.
SYD-SIN-LHR using QF81 then QF1 is 290 SC.

SYD-PER-LHR clocks up 335 SC.

It depends what fare class is available all thing being equal SYD-SIN earns 120SC in the cheap business discount fare bucket, outside if this 125SC is pretty much the norm for SYD-SIN or any other eastern state. That most likely explains the QF1 to QF81 to difference.
