Commencement of new membership year - benefits

Hey everyone,

Fairly straight forward question - my platinum membership rolled over today and was wanting to use 2x of my comp upgrades.
From people's experience, roughly how long does it take for the new upgrade allowances to be added to the account?
I used all 4 last membership year and thus my account is showing 0 upgrades.

When you go online, is your status "under review"?

The review takes approx. 1 month and then you get an email say happy WP day and online you will see your new benefits, including upgrades.
 
The message I'm getting is...
"We are currently assessing your activity over your membership year. You will still have access to your current benefits until 15 Aug 2015. Your new card will be with you shortly."

do do you think there is any chance of calling the plat line, even say in a week, and trying to get the upgrades locked in? Or just have to ride out the month or until they appear again in the benefits?
 
Related question to this as I'm under review right now too: the one comp J upgrade I didn't take - does anyone think it's still available to me?

technically no, as it should have expired on your review date which was the date the 'review period' started although it wouldn't hurt to call and ask.

For what it is worth, on my account which like yours is under review, it says.... "We are currently assessing your activity over your membership year. You will still have access to your current benefits until 15 Aug 2015. Your new card will be with you shortly."

Given that - assuming the same for you - I think you would still have access to your unused comp upgrade.
 
Would echo the other comments, while they probably should expire at review date historically the actual expiry date for comps has been a few weeks after this for me. Can also confirm I have used one of the "old" upgrades after noticing it technically hadn't expired after the account came back from review. Had to explain to the call centre I wanted to use the old upgrade and not one of the 4 new ones though.
