Better deal to get the same card but with the 40k sign on bonus on the spend of one transaction.

That way when you have spent $4000 you will have 45k points rather than 40k that you would have with this deal.

Thanks ozbeachbabe for your kind thoughts.Earlier this month I was deluged with tax bills so I now have frequent flyer points galore!
Has anyone ever said that they have too many?? I have never read such a post but I can see now how that would be possible.
I think it is the same with money.
