I really hope it does not take 3 months!
Bonus Velocity Points are calculated on the total number of participating partners you earn Points with during the promotion period and will be calculated at the end of the promotion period. Please allow up to twelve (12) weeks post the 08 January 2019 for your bonus Velocity Points to be credited to your Velocity account.

Well, one could hope that they don't take 3 months, but Velocity offers often seem to take the full timeframes given. In this case, they probably have to give enough time for points to post.

On that note, an Autobarn purchase from before Christmas posted today.

Based on the flybuys double SC promotion and the hyundai test drive promotion id say we will be lucky to get it within 3 months.

"Paying out" at the completion of their promotions doesnt seem to be something virgin is overly concerned about.

Perfectly within the T&Cs they state to be fair...(not the Hyundai one but that seemed to have more to do with Hyundai than VFF)

I never read the T&Cs of the flybuys promotion but it was an offer of double SCs for the month of December. Everyone has recieved their status credits for December over a week ago and no one received double SCs.

No fractions of Status Credits will be allocated, only whole Status Credits. The Velocity Frequent Flyer member linked to the flybuys household (as at the end of the calendar month) will be awarded the Status Credits. During the promotional period, the nominated linked Velocity member may earn up to a maximum of 20 Velocity Frequent Flyer Status Credits. Spend excludes tobacco and tobacco related products, charity donations and gift card purchases. Please allow up to 2 weeks after the end of each calendar month for your Velocity Frequent Flyer Status Credits to be credited. Velocity Frequent Flyer Status Credits will not appear on your flybuys statement, see your Velocity account for your Status Credit balance. Velocity members also need to fly on Virgin Australia marketed flights to earn Eligible Sectors in addition to Status Credits to upgrade or maintain a new level of membership. Find out more about the Status Credit and Eligible Sector requirements for Velocity membership levels at velocityfrequentflyer.com/status.

I'm not one to defend VFF but I guess depending how you interpret that the 2 weeks either ends today or tomorrow...that said I think they stuffed up for sure and no one replaced "1" with "2" in the script or whatever system they use to sweep across...

Went to autobarn to get my buckets. The guy said there was about 200 buckets sitting in the back. He was saying they were a b**ch to put aside and was even more pissed he was going to have to put them all back cos no one collected them.

Said he was going to reverse and refund all the transactions of the people who didn't come get them.. In a bid to make them lose the 10k bonus. Hahaha

Same. Bought a padlock on 24/12. Points posted today
I went in on 26/12 so I guess that means my points should be in within a few days....no idea where the receipt is so I'm hoping all goes to plan!

My points for my Onsport purchase made on 3 January finally posted today but dated 15 January! A follow up with Onsport do you think???

Think I might've praised Wilson's too soon. Both my purchases with them post within 24-48hrs. Used them for the partners account 11/12 and nothing still. Probably should've setup a new account for her instead of using my Wilson account (at least the tax invoice shows VFF but alas they don't list the number). Hopefully slow and not an oops by me!

Well, I just want to give a big shout out to the person on this site who put everyone onto buying buckets at autobarn.

There is nothing I enjoy more than a bit of subversion and kudos to you Sir, or Madam

I feel like ive missed out. I only participated for myself and my partner. Maybe i should have signed my parents up as well haha!!

If it's really that troublesome to put buckets aside, the guy needs to get a grip on reality and be grateful for having such an easy job.
