China Airlines PE during peak Christmas and New Years period for a very good price.
I have booked for my father in law BNE-SGN return 21/12-05/01 for $1464 and myself/hubby BNE-SGN-ICN-BNE 21/12-05/01 for $1510 per person. Transit time in Taipei is only 1.5hrs both ways.
I've checked their economy flights and the difference is < $100. Premium economy flights on carriers like Cathay, Singapore and Vietnam/Qantas are also going for a lot more. The next cheapest option is Vietnam/Qantas for $2100 in PE.
For an additional $100 more you get extra comfort which in my eyes is well worth it.
I have only checked prices for South Korea and Vietnam, however it may be similar pricing for other parts of Asia as well

Forgot to mention, only the main leg from BNE to TPE is in premium economy. This is the same for Cathay and Singapore as most aircraft's operating within Asia do not offer premium economy cabins.
