Checking my calculations

Hi all,

Just wanted to check my calculations as it doesn't seem right.

Using my Commbank Diamond AMEX I can earn 3 Commbank points for every $ spent. Then the transfer rate is 1 QFF point for every 2 Commbank award points. So end result is for every $1000 I spend I can earn 1500 QFF points.

A $1000 spent with a AMEX card direct will only earn me 1000 QFF. (expect for airline purchased etc with are a higher rate)

Am I missing something?

No, you're not missing anything.

Bank-issued Amex pays the highest for general spend where Amex-issued Amex don't have a higher earn rate (which varies from card to card).

Amex Business Accelerator earns 2/$ but it is capped and you need an ABN.
