Check-in baggage allowance on Qantas point redemption CX flight (HKG-SYD)?

I used my QFF points to redeem 2 CX business class tickets from HKG to SYD (CX101) in Jan 2017. The original issue date was Jan 2016. As there was a change in the time of the flight, a new Itinerary was issued by Qantas stating the Issue Date now as Nov 2016.

What is the check-in baggage allowance for this flight? Will it be according to Qantas's International flights limit or will it be according to CX at 30Kg (before Sept 16 issue date) or 40Kg (after Sept 16 issue date)?

I will be downgraded to Qantas Silver in Jan 2017 and will not be able to get extra baggage allowance on OneWorld.

It's always the operating carrier's limits.

In your case I don't think you'll have a problem with getting 40kg. Just have a printout of your itinerary showing the November 2016 issue date.
