Hi all,

Have not been to Adelaide for a while.
Last time I could walk past the carparks and get a local bus beach area.

How do you get in the city for a day trip the cheapest way please....no luggage.

regards

What's more Adelaide's buses work in with Google maps, just select the transit button.

There is a public transport bus (as noted) which IIRC cost me around $4 earlier this year (CBD to Airport). There also used to be an Airport Shuttle bus (turn left when you exit the terminal and it leaves from around the corner at that end) and I don't think it costs much more than the public bus (and is quicker), but I haven't used it for a year or two now, so unsure of current pricing.

The public bus now departs on the lower level to the left of the taxi area as you walk out of the terminal doors.

I got the J1 bus to and from the airport in October - it takes about 20 minutes usually, maximum 30 minutes in peak times/heavy traffic.
Much better than getting a taxi if you ask me, much cheaper and not much longer time-wise.
