Cheapest Business Class Flights to London Early December

The wife and I, both in our mid 70's and both thankfully recently recovered from the Big C wish to fly to London early December this year to visit my brother who has advanced Parkinsons and may not be with us for much longer.
We would prefer the comfort of business class but do not have many FF points so would like to know the cheapest way to fly business.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Many thanks.

The cheapest option is generally to fly to somewhere in Asia (usually Bangkok) and pick up a separate return ticket from there. Finnair has some good deals (and a very good product), but Sri Lankan Airlines, Qatar, Vietnam Airlines and various others are also worth looking into.

If you would prefer to book it all on the one ticket from Australia and might work out a little more expensive. But some of the cheaper airlines include Finnair, Malaysian Airlines, Korean Air and some of the Chinese carriers.

If you can mange economy (or premium economy) to SIN, you can overnight in SIN (even at the airport hotel for as little as $100 for 8 hours), you can pick up a range of business class fares to Europe from there in the $2000-$2500 range per person. Overnighting will give you peace of mind for flight connections.

Scoot has premium economy (Scootbiz) starting at $310 each way. Jetstar can be similar if you grab one of their sales. Otherwise expect economy only to be about the same price on a range of airlines.
